The Office of University Events

The Events Office had been in existence since 2005 when the University admitted its first set of students. It was managed by the then founding Vice-President of University Relations & Development, Dr. Elspeth Smith. Upon the creation of Public Relations & Communications Department (PR&C) in 2010, the Events Office moved to PR & Communications. In 2013, the University Events Office was created as an independent office under the Office of the President.

The Office of University Events within the Office of the President oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of major official university events and ceremonies, and supports various university groups in planning their events and ceremonies as well.



Department Vision

The Office of University Events seeks to maintain the highest quality in event planning and organization to showcase AUN, support the university’s strategic vision as a “Development University,” and promote the institution’s brand image and identity.
